is a durable, dense, thick and grainy hardwood. It contains high levels of resinous oils that make it naturally moisture resistant,
insect repellent and impervious to
drying.
-Grease and seal teak furniture: treating teak
with teak oil or sealant helps to retain and enhance teak's natural golden honey
. It doesn't affect your strength or your longevity.
Teak that stays outside for long periods of time will need to be re-rolled or sealed approximately every 2 to 3 months.
-Storage of teak furniture: When teak furniture
is not in use, we recommend using covers, storing it indoors, or placing it in an airtight shed or
garage.
If you store them in a heated room, avoid moving them immediately to a cold outdoor location, as sudden differences in temperature and humidity can cause the wood to split.
